Life’s too short! For letting all the angst floating around out there to get us down, that is. So I’m just gonna plonk a big ol’ juicy hunk of love down in the middle of it and see if we can’t put a little dent in all that gloom. If it brings out a smile somewhere, the forces of darkness will just have to back off a tad and the good guys win. So here’s a song I wrote for Sugar Babe for our anniversary 18 years ago, which I’ve been trying to make a decent recording of ever since. Alas, the concept remains mythically elusive. But 18 years?? Wow…it’s a Golden Oldie without ever having assaulted the public ear! So here it comes….skedaddle, forces of darkness! Go on now…git!!  This is “Poetry and Wine.”
